The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) has developed its Advanced Life
Support (ALS) provider course, based on ERC guidelines.This is a standardized European course that teaches necessary evidence-based
resuscitation skills and guidelines.This course trains candidates to identify the various causes of cardiac arrest and
explains how to recognize patients in immediate danger of deterioration.Tackle common problems
It also educates them on both the cardiac arrest and the peri-arrest problems usually
encountered by healthcare professionals.Recognize and treat the deteriorating patient using a structured ABCDE approach.
Deliver standardized CPR in adults. Manage a cardiac arrest by working with a multidisciplinary team in an emergency situation. Utilize non-technical skills to facilitate strong team leadership and effective team membership.All candidates are continuously assessed on practical skills in airway
management and their initial approach to a collapsed patient.In addition, there's an MCQ paper as well as an assessment of a simulated
cardiac arrest (CASTest).Assessment of your airway management skills.
Assessment of your ability to give high-quality CPR. Assessment of your ability to perform safe defibrillation.The 2-day course is delivered by ERC certified trainers who will instruct and guide
you through all stages of your learning.
