Year 1

Location : India

Surgical training delivered by local and global visiting faculty.

Clinical audits - intro & methodology.

Completion of mandatory short courses - BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS.

Operation theatre experience.

Handling basic surgical conditions.

Preparation for IELTS/OET tests

Year 2

Location : India

Enrolment in the MBA program in Healthcare & Leadership from the University of South Wales.

MRCS Part-A examination preparation.

Clinical audits - application & real-time audits.

Simulation sessions - communication skills, dealing with difficult situations, system based resources.

Assessment & management of surgical patients.

Handling advanced surgical conditions.

Focus on work-life balance and community development programmes.

Year 3-4

Location : UK

18 months in secondary care: surgical training.

Leadership skills training at USW.

18 months in tertiary centre: MRCS preparation under educational supervisor.
